The 68th Marine Measurement Forum, held on 11th June 2025, was a true scorcher — in every sense of the word! With brilliant attendance, an unforgettable keynote, and a packed programme of insightful talks, the day was a huge success from start to finish.
We were honoured to welcome Mensun Bound, Marine Archaeologist and Director of Exploration for Endurance22, as our keynote speaker. His moving and captivating talk on the discovery of Shackleton’s ship Endurance brought the audience along for the journey — complete with video clips, vivid storytelling and a rare glimpse into one of the most ambitious marine archaeological missions of recent years.
The programme that followed was no less inspiring, featuring a broad range of topics across marine science and technology. Highlights included talks from Matt from the Sub Racing Series team, and Jasmine from Sofa Ocean, who shared exciting developments in Spotter Buoy technology. Each presentation sparked lively discussion and real engagement from the audience — exactly what the MMF is all about.
Held at the unique Hogs Back Brewery, with The Hangar providing the perfect backdrop, the event was expertly delivered by our team. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make MMF 68 one of the most memorable forums yet.
