The Marine Measurement Forum (MMF) is a series of one-day, non-profit events that offer a valuable platform for networking and the informal exchange of ideas, knowledge and innovations across the full spectrum of marine scientific measurement activities.

OceanWise proudly hosted an MMF event in June, and are very much looking forward to attending MMF 70, which will be hosted by Ocean Business, at the Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium, in January 2026.

We are looking forward to this year’s BPA Annual Conference, which is being held in the historic port town of Dover in October. This yearly event brings together the marine community for 3 days of thought leadership, innovation, collaboration and networking.

The Society for Maritime Industries (SMI) has arranged for some of their members – including a representative from OceanWise – to spend a day at the BMT Simulation Suite in Fareham. Incorporating simulations of various possible scenarios, sessions throughout the day will explore AI and digital areas with potential for further exploration.

Geo Business, the Geospatial event that explores how location and geospatial data are driving smarter decision-making across different industries, is taking place at the ExCel in London, and we will be there!

We are especially looking forward to attending some of the sessions (of which there are more than 150 to choose from) and to visiting the expo to see the latest geo technology.
