In co-operation with IMarEST, we ran our One-Day Marine Data Management Awareness Course at IMarEST HQ, 1 Birdcage Walk, London, SW1H 9JJ on Wednesday 8 February 2017. Data is the new oil or the new electricity; it costs money and we collect it for a reason. Because it is such a valuable asset – only an organisation’s employees are more valuable – it needs to be treated accordingly.
